I am trying to find:
LIPFELD, currently or formerly of Switzerland. My grandmother's sister's
husband, Heniek / Hersz LIPFELD, survived the Lodz Ghetto and moved to
Switzerland. I am looking for his family. Please respond privately with any
information.
GRENFELD / GRUNFELD / GREENFELD (or possibly other spelling), currently or
formerly of the UK. My ggrandfather's sister, Freidal MAZURKIEWICZ, lived in
England for a while. She moved to Israel, but her children stayed in
England. Her daughter married a GRENFIELD (or other spelling). She visited
Israel around 1952 or so, perhaps other times as well.
MAZUR or MAZURKIEWICZ, currently or formerly of France. My grandmother and
her first cousin, Mietek (aka Josef Mojsiej / Yosef / Moniek) MAZURKIEWICZ,
were very close, growing up together in Lodz, Poland. Mietek was born in Lodz
in 1910, left Poland before WW II, went to to study at the Sorbonne, then
went to Israel (Palestine). He was an engineer. He left Palestine in 1947 or
1948 (before Israel came to be) for Paris. He may have been married several
times and has at least one son. He may have changed the family name to MAZUR
once reaching Paris. Mietek's mother was >from the CEDERBAUM family.
If you have any tie-ins to this, please respond to me privately.
Thank you.
