According to Jiri Fiedler's book JEWISH SIGHTS OF BOHEMIA AND MORAVIA on
page 130, Karvina-Mesto in German Frystat is located near Ostrava
formerly Moravska-Ostava which is 275 km E of Prague.
Karvona -Mesto is 18 km ENE of Ostrava and their is a Karvin-Doly 14 km
E. Both had synagogues. Ostrave was one of Czechoslovakia's most important
industrial centers with metallurgy, mechanical engineering and coal mines.
I couldn't find a Lazy or anything close to that.
