Jefferson Market Court - Any Way to Get Information About Cases Heard There? #general

I found a short article in the December 9, 1895 New York Times about one of
my ancestors having been arrested for stealing a number of bicycles. He was
arraigned at the Jefferson Market Court before a magistrate, and he was held
over for further examination the following day.

Of course this "crime of the century" was not important enough for the New
York Times to provide a follow-up, and I was wondering whether, more than 100
years later, there would be any records available regarding matters heard at
this court.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
