I think I have written individually to all you wonderful folks who contacted
me personally with information I was seeking but, just in case I missed someone,
please know that I am most apprecciative.

My question was based on an assumption that because the Ellis Island database
ends in 1924, the actual indices and records end at that time too. Of course,
I knew better >from the years I searched these indices the "old fashioned" way,
but that was 15 years ago and I forgot. Oh, how wonderfully spoiled we have
gotten with these online databses of indices and records!

So, thanks everyone for reminding me.
