As has been explained here many times, there are no rules for
converting between English and Hebrew/Yiddish names. While many
Biblical names have their English equivalent, it is still up to the
parents to decide what the names will be. I know people whose English
names have nothing to do with their Hebrew names. Or that their English
name merely shares a first letter with the Hebrew name.

Regarding Shaindel, I have a family member that married a Shawnee whose
Hebrew/Yiddish name was Sheina. That seems to be the exception. If you
want naming suggestions, search the Internet - there are many naming
sites.
