I just came across the name of my maternal great-grandmother and it is >from my grandparents marriage license application. As both of my grandparents were new to America I'm sure that their accents changed the sound and pronouncement of the name. I would so appreciate help with this name...What else could it be? I already checked Jewishgen soundex but nothing really sounded the same or near the same to me. The name was: Hustel TWEKEN. My grandparents came >from a town about 40 miles >from Czernovitz.
