Within a couple of hours of sending my query regarding "Poinitze(?)",
a small town near Lomza, the birthplace of my cousin Charles Schwartz's
wife Helen, I received the answer >from our esteemed Warren Blatt:
The town's proper Polish name is Piatnica, Poland, 1 mile East of Lomza.
(My spelling does not show the pertinent diacritical character.)
Thanks ever so much, Warren. I'm posting this to show that further
research is no longer needed.
Ever grateful to JewishGen and its faithful members,
