Ellen Gottfried asked for someone to visit the Family History Library in
Salt Lake City for her. For Ellen and any others that may not know,
materials >from the FHL can be requested for viewing at your local Family
History Center. The current fee is $6.20 per microfilm reel for 45 days.
The waiting time for the microfilm to arrive is unpredictable, sometimes a
week or two, sometimes several months, depending on availability.

There is a center in Plainview, NY, where Ellen lives, and there are centers
throughout the world. To locate a center, go to www.familysearch.org, click
on Library, then Family History Centers, then enter your geographic
information.
