Dear Genners,

In a previous message Dina Hill asked if children were being born at home
in 1887.

Joy Rich replied, "Yes, children were still being born at home during the
1880s." ... ...

Just an FYI. When looking for birth info, don't assume that the child was
born in a hospital close to where the family resided.
