this was passed along to me through a Jewish community group

apparently this man saw his family murdered by the Nazis before his own eyes.
He was six years old. He was taken in by a Nazi and served as a mascot for
them. He was eventually taken in by a Nazi family who raised him. He did not
know his original family name or birth date.

the story goes... he only remembered the town he was >from and found some
relatives. His father He Thought was killed, too. He was not.
