I am seeking more information on a brother of my great grandfather
whose name was Sam NEWMAN.

He was born as Godil NEMOY in Narodici, Ukraine in 1902 and came to
the US, via Canada, with his mother in 1910.
As of 1920, he was in Chicago with his parents, but by 1930 he was
married to his wife Sarah (nee ASHER? ALTSCHULER?)in California.
They had a daughter Muriel in 1925 in San Diego. They actually lived
in Ramona, CA. My grandfather had thought they moved to Texas from
there.

Most of this info is >from Ancestry. I have reached the limits of
this though, since I can't find a deceased Sarah or Sam Newman
who fit the bill. Muriel could still be living, though probably with
a married name.

I'd like to be in touch with anyone who is familiar with this family.
