from the Colorado Springs Gazette-Telegraph 28 April, 1990:Torah scroll donation: A torah (the first five books of Moses)
that survived the Holocaust will be donated to the Air Force Academy
Cadet Jewish Chapel at a 3PM ceremony Sunday. The Torah will be part
of a memorial for the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust.
Guest speaker will be Harry Rapaport of Melville, NY, who found the
Torah in a ritual bathhouse in Czestochowa, Poland in 1988.
This is >from an Air Force archivist in Colorado Springs at the Air
Force Academy whose name is Paul Martin.
The Air Force asked me to write in an effort to learn more about this
scroll and the person who donated it.
