Another Update to the IAJGS Legislative Alert #general

Jan Meisels Allen

Another update to the IAJGS Legislative Alert has been posted with
the date of March 24, 2010.

The Additions/Correction:

1.Added a link to read the IAJGS letter on S 820 which would
prevent access to birth and marriage records after 1841!
2. Corrected typo in title of Massachusetts bill H-2060 to
H-2064--the link was to the correct bill- just my typo
in the blurb--thank you to the readers who pointed this out!

The IAJGS Public Records Access Monitoring Committee works as a
group to address issues of access of vital records: birth,
marriage, death and census records. If you are aware of any
governmental action that would reduce access please let us know
by contacting me.
