A Museum of the Jewish Soldier in World War II is being established
in Yad Lashiryon site in Latrun, on the main road between Tel-Aviv and
Jerusalem.

There are a number of features of genealogical interest including the
facility to contribute names of soldiers, Ghetto fighters, artisans,
Yishuv soldiers etc online.
Over 1.5 million people are estimated to have fought, and at least a
quarter of a million were killed in action.

the website will have searchable databases but, as with the museum
itself, is in the course of construction and is a very interesting
site.
