Would there be any records ofJewish weddings in Uzbekistan or
Tajikistan >from the period after world war two?
Two sisters originally >from Poland were refugees in Tashkent during the war.
They married two refugees >from Poland via labour camps in Archangel(?)
The name in Uzbekistan where they married was some-thing sounding like
("fahadshey")
The nearest similar sounding name I found was Dushanbe, but anything
is possible.
The names are
Rivka/Raia EIDELMAN married Moshe HERZBERG Married 12th June 1945
Fanny/Fania EIDELMAN married Baruch IGER Married 12th June 1945
