Requesting Death Certificate NYC 1950 #general
Anna Reuter <anna94306@...>
Dear Cousins:
I found a New York Times Obituary for a woman, who died December i7,
1950 in the Borough of Manhattan. She was subsequently buried near
her husband in Los Angeles, California.
How can I get a copy of her Death Certificate?
I would assume that the DC would have to be issued by New York City.
And I would also assume that a Burial Permit would be needed for
California.
The rootsweb California Death Index does not list her name at all.
Her Husband is listed in the Rootsweb Data Base. But he died in Los
Angeles in 1940.
My main goal is to find her Father's Name. It may be listed on her
Death Certificate and possibly on her Grave Marker.
Thanks,
Anna Reuter
