I am grateful someone partially translated the Polish record I posted to ViewMate
before I even submitted this message. It is the marriage record of my gggps, and I
still need help filling in some blanks as well as clarification about the date.
The document appeared in the JRI-Poland index for year 1861, but the translation
indicates the ceremony took place in 1865. Also, the marriage was recorded in the
town of Drobin, Poland which is new on my radar screen. I'd like to know any
information about the geographical origin of bride or groom. The only certainty is
that the couple subsequently moved to the neighboring town of Sierpc, Poland.
