For many years relatives of mine have been trying to resolve the
mystery surrounding the precise relationship between two Benjamin
Winters - the one founder of what is now a powerful real estate
empire headquartered in New York City - the other a (presumably)
textile merchant who lived for many years in Paterson, New Jersey
(my paternal grandfather's older brother Jakob Ber KUJAWSKI).

Thanks to the selfless efforts of many wonderful subscribers to
this list, I just learned the name of real estate mogul Benjamin
Winter's paternal grandfather (Yakov); which brings me one step
closer to discovering the link between the two Benjamin Winters.
(I'd like to add that I've already thanked each of my "helpers"
personally.)
