I can't find a death record for death due to abortion. #general

Mark London <mrl@...>

Hi - I'm another person who can't find any evidence of someone who was
living in Philadelphia in the 1920s, and died >from a botched abortion.
No death certificate in the recently released Pennsylvania records, or
in any of the listings of the older Jewish cemeteries. Could someone
have totally hidden the death, i.e. by changing the person's name, or
simply not reporting it? How likely could that have been done in that
era? As a log shot, I'm going to also look into the possibility that
maybe she went over the border, New Jersey for the abortion, and died
there instead. Thanks. - Mark
