I should much appreciate some help...say look-up for this couple's
background,parents,birthplaces.

I was able to locate this couple in the ItalianGen marriage DB
(http://www.italiangen.org/). They were married on November 26, 1931 in
Kings Co, NY. , Certificate #16405.

The FamilySearch catalog lists the corresponding microfilm as #1684424 ("New
York, Brooklyn, marriage certificates, 1866-1937", Cert. no. 15253-16500
Nov-Dec 1931).

In the U.S. and many other countries, you can rent a copy of the microfilm
inexpensively >from your local Family History Center. However, this does not
appear to be the case in Israel, where Brenda lives.

Perhaps someone that is going to the Family History Library in Salt Lake
City or to the NYC archives can look up this certificate for her.
