Hello,

Can someone please help with a translation of just a small part of the
tombstone at ViewMate 23520? An English translation of the Hebrew has been
published, so I do not need a translation of the whole tombstone. My
question concerns the title of Rabbi, supposedly appearing before the name
Abraham son of Isaac. Since I have never read in any other place that this
man was a rabbi, and he is known to have been a merchant, I am wondering if
the title could have been rav or something other than rabbi. Thank you for
your help.
