Around 1916, David Benjamin FRANKLIN (b. 1884, Troy NY) married Pauline
KOHLMAN (b. abt Nov 1886, NY NY) and settled in Hoboken NJ, where David
ran a candy store. In WWII they were living at 1233 Park Avenue, Hoboken.
According to a half first cousin, once removed (she met them decades ago
and lost track) they died in the mid or late 1960s.
Daughters Ruth, born abt 1919, and Beatrice, born abt 1920, appear in the
regular census records. I suspect both married, and the distant relative
thinks Beatrice married, had a daughter and moved to the Carolinas, where
her husband became ill.
I've tried all the usual websites, but remain stuck and welcome suggestions.
David Benjamin FRANKLIN had a sister Lillian (1886-1967) who died in
Brooklyn. She was married to Julius MARGOLIAS (1883-1955). No children.
I am checking with Washington Cemetery in Brooklyn, where some of the
relatives of this family are buried.
