The Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island invites you to join us at
our Sunday, March 17, meeting. Topic: "Holocaust Research and Records" Guest Speakers: Peter Lande and Bill Farran Peter Lande is a volunteer at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. He has traveled throughout Europe to locate and acquire lists of Holocaust victims and survivors. He has computerized thousands of names for inclusion in Museum and Jewishgen databases. In 2001 he received the IAJGS Lifetime Achievement Award for his work to identify resources and create finding aids for Holocaust research. JGSLI member, Bill Farran, will exhibit and give a short presentation about his wood etchings of "Lost Synagogues".
