My maternal grandmother had a sister Alta Rosenbloom, born
about 1880 in Borisov. She married a man named Berl KAPLAN.
They had three sons and a daughter. Two of the sons are
Jakob and Baruch-Yosef and the daughter is Etta Bryna.

We have a Russian photograph >from the mid-1920s without Berl
and he may have been dead already.

Jakob and one of the other brothers each had a daughter
before contact was lost in 1930.

Alta's parents are Israel David (my namesake) and Etta Bryna
who died when her children were young.

Sunday, my g-gm's yahrzeit, I opened a Facebook page called
"Etta Bryna's Descendants" to which I have invited descendants
of my grandmother and her brother. I would love to find some
descendants of Alta KAPLAN as well.
(Two other sisters died in the US with no children.)
