The Library and Archives Canada was supposed to make available to the public
the 1921 Canadian census this June following the 92 year privacy rule-but
they delayed that access. Today, August 8, the Library and Archives website
posted that it is available via Ancestry.ca- but it is not yet indexed.
There are 8.8 million records and the index will be available later this
year. To read about this go to:
http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/census/Pages/census.aspx .

This takes the reader to the Ancestry.ca website on this census
http://www.ancestry.ca/Census. You can browse the record collection *free*
by accessing it by clicking this link: http://tinyurl.com/l5rm4af
Original url:

The census is divided into census districts..they were further divided into
sub-districts. There were many questions asked which can be found listed on
the url immediately above.

I have no affiliation with Ancestry.com or any of its affiliates.
