If not done already, contact every possible relative of Alfred and Gertrude
(including in-laws such as sisters of Alfred's wife Julia - Marguerite and
Helen nee TASKEVICS) who might have knowledge about Felix and his possible
return to Germany.

Request Felix' naturalization documents or, if not naturalized, his 1940

Confirm whether Felix Heinisch born 27 Apr 1908 who died Oct 1989 in
Frankfurt Germany is Alfred and Gertrude's brother by requesting his Social
Security Application to confirm parents' names including mother Bertha

Contact the Consulate General of the United States in Frankfurt, Germany < >. At least until 1974, U.S. Consulates
issued American Foreign Service Form FS 192 "Report of the Death of an
American Citizen" to the U.S. Department of State. An example of this Report
contains such details as name in full, occupation, native or naturalized,
date of death, age, place of death, cause of death, disposition of remains,
disposition of effects, person or official responsible for custody of
effects and accounting thereafter, copy of this report sent to, traveling or
residing abroad with friends or relatives as follows, other known relatives,
information and data concerning inventory of effects placed under File 330
in this office, and remarks. Whether or not Felix was a naturalized American
citizen, request a record of his death in Germany.

Consult New York City telephone directories for 1958 or 1959 (when SS number
issued), 1967 and later.

Good luck!
