Reading Marriage Register from Moravia; German language #general

Robert Fraser

Dear Friends -

Primarily thanks to the expertise of Randy Schonberg, I now have a copy of an entry
in a marriage register >from the town of Lostice/Loschitz in Moravia. It records the
marriage (actually the first of two) of Moritz Nowak, my great-grandfather, in
1860.

Randy and I have been able to extract some vital information >from the register, but
I'm sure there is more that I can't read. I have tried to make the copy as readable
as possible, but I'm still missing most of it.

If some expert would kindly take a look at it, I'll email them a copy. What I have
is unsuitable for posting to ViewMate, so I can post a Word.doc file to them.

The register was obtained >from the website:

Thanks, and please respond off-list.
