I for one take issue with this statement. Yes it does matter, Sir. When
you spend 20-30 years compiling information (without the use of computers),
and spending money for documents, then send that information to a
prospective 'cousin' only to have them publish the information as their own . .
it sure as heck does matter.
I sent 185 pages detailing the 7 children of my ggggrandfather to one
cousin and she published the material as her own. Now when someone asks for
information I send a page or 2 showing that person's position on the family
tree and ask them to make corrections and update whatever they can. I
learned my lesson the hard way.
