Municipal archives (e.g., birth records later than 1909). If so, could
you share your strategy. As far as I know these are only available to
closely related family members.'
I just recently tried to get my mother's birth certificate by mail. She was born in
1914. I downloaded the form and included a copy of her death certificate to show
she was deceased.
A few weeks later I got the form back and was told I needed to send an original
death certificate that would be returned to me.
