I’ve discovered a distant ancestor, William KOPP, in the 1940 census who
was an inmate in Great Meadows Correctional Facility, Fort Ann, New York.
Has anyone else done research on someone incarcerated in this facility?
What resources might be explored to find out more about why he was in
prison, how long, etc.?
