Re: New Jersey Farming Communities #general

Barbara,
First, you ask for information about New Jersey farm communities and then
refer to information re. Berlin. Where is the connection? My friend was
raised on a chicken farm in the area but he was born in Moscow, no less--not
in an Eastern European shtetl. Also, you might want to check the Jewishgen
Discussion Archives--much info. Already discussed about what I believe was
the Rothchild Farming Project for Jewish immigrants.

I am currently working on creating a Kehilalink site for the Jewish
Farming Communities of southern New Jersey.
My interest in these communities was piqued when my mother told me
about visiting her cousins on their poultry farm and going to a Purim
party at the Grange Hall!
Some of these communities are Woodbine, Alliance, Farmingdale,
Lakewood & Roosevelt
