I'm guessing that the Lublin marriage was a civil ceremony and the
religious ceremony didn't come until later when a rabbi was available.

Genners,

A friend of mine's parents were married on Lag B'omer, 1947 in
Munich. On her declaration of intent, her mother indicated that
they were married in March 1946 in Lublin.

Assuming the mother wasn't confusing two separate events, can
anyone suggest why she would have "altered" her marriage
information?
