When I came on aliya in 1960, my Jerusalem family mentioned to me that
we were related to Rav Nissan ZAKS, who was the rav of the Shaare
Chessed neighborhood in Jerusalem.

I would like to confirm the above , and jog my memory that it is
possible just that my grandparents were friendly with him but not
actual family.

My grandparents Jerusalem families are : ABRAMOWITZ and SCHECHTER
(both born in the 19th cent. in the old city of Jerusalem) . Of course
we have familial connections to other Jerusalem families such as
RIVLIN, PORUSH etc
