Searching For Town of Gordeefka #belarus

On both the 1917 NYC Naturalization Papers of Oscar Mennen & the 1923 NYC
Naturalization Papers of his brother Joseph Mennen, [surname originally
Manewitz], they both say they were born in Gordeefka.

However, Joseph’s 1911 NYC Passenger Manifest & WW I Military Cards, states
he was born in Kostiukowitz, Mogliev, Russia

Oscar’s 1905 Passenger Manifest only states his last residence was
Kostiukowitz, WW I Military Card birth place is blank & WW II Military Card
states only Mogiliev.

I understand Mogilev is the province and I’ve looked at all the towns listed
on JewishGen’s Town Finder 1900 Mogilev Province Database. I’m trying to
connect Gordeefka which I cannot find with Kostiukowitz [today,
Kastsyukovichy, Belarus]. Perhaps, Gordeeefka was a small shtetl in the
vicinity. Just can’t find it.

All suggestions welcome.
