The following letter was sent to Miriam Weiner:

Dear Miriam,

While I did not attend the IAJGS Conference in Florida, I wanted to
thank you for the donation of the Belarus records >from your years and years of
research to the Belarus SIG. While you may not have had a lot of feedback about
your donation, I want to assure you that it is because most people don't understand
the significance of your records and how they will help find more records in the
archives based on the work you have done to locate record groups in the various

archives. I hope you have seen Paul Zoglin's tremendous efforts to organize the
material that you have donated to the Belarus SIG so that it will benefit Belarus
researchers.

I am also sure that the other SIGS that benefited >from your generous donations appreciate what you have done. While I no longer have an official position in the Belarus SIG, other than the founder and first SIG Coordinator, I wanted to take this opportunity to recognize your efforts and contribution to the Jewish genealogy Community. It has been my pleasure to work with you over these many years and I hope that we can continue to stay in touch.
