Mogilev Podolskiy DNA project #general

Phyllis Berenson

The Mogilev Podolskiy, Ukraine Geographic DNA Project on just
celebrated its First Anniversary. Howard Sedlitz worked doggedly to create the
group in May 2014 as an important resource to connect researchers through dna test
results, where vital records >from this area are difficult to acquire and translate.
We now have over 160 DNA Project members, comparing DNA and Family Trees in search
of distant cousins and common ancestors with Jewish roots >from Mogilev Podolslky,
Ukraine, Kamenets Podolslky and all nearby Shtetls.

We are so fortunate to have group member, Sandy Aaronson, who has deeper knowledge
of dna than most of us and triangulates members' test results to help us find

New Members with roots in this geographical area are welcome to join us, but must
be DNA Tested by and join in the Projects Program.

Looking Forward to having you join us. Please email Howard Sedlitz at:
