August is National Family Month celebrated in both Australia and New
Zealand. This is sponsored by Australasian Federation of Family History
Organisations, National Archives of Australia and Ancestry.com. To find out

National Family History Month has been celebrated in Australia since August
2006 when it was celebrated during the first week of August. Due to its ever
increasing popularity, National Family History Month was increased to the
whole month of August >from 2013.
