Re: Johannesburg SA cemeteries on JOWBR #general
Steve Stein is confused about where his ancestors lie.
Both Braamfontein and West Park cemeteries are in Johannesburg and have Jewish
sections. Braamfontein opened in 1888 and West Park in 1942.
I looked on http://www.jewishroots.uct.ac.za/ (a very good new database for
South Africa) and found 24 Lupinskys and the names he mentioned are all in West
Park. Maybe JOWBR is also confused - I didn't look there.
