The Library and Archives Canada (LAC) launched a new online database,
Ukrainian Immigrants, 1891-1930. The database has over 14,700 references to
names of Ukrainians who arrived in Canada and the United States between 1891
and 1930. The information was obtained >from passenger lists held at the LAC
for the following ports:

-- Halifax, Nova Scotia
-- Montreal and Quebec, Quebec
-- Saint John, New Brunswick
-- New York, New York
-- Portland, Maine

Searching may be done by keyword, surname, given name(s), ship and year of
