Time, Inc has donated its archives to the New York Historical Society
(http://nyhistory.org/). The archives includes 7 million documents and
artifacts relating to Time.Inc's publications: Time, Fortune, Life, Sports
Illustrated and People Magazines. Not only the photographs but also
newsreels, reference files and correspondents' field reports are included in
the donation. The new dedicated gallery at the New York Historical Society
is schedueld to open next year. These archival treasures give us a view of
