Is it possible that the town you are looking for is Butrimonys in
Lithuania? According to the JewishGen Communities Database, it was
called Butrimantz in Yiddish. The Trakai District Research Group has
translated records as early as 1816 for Butrimonys.

birthplace in Hebrew, which has been translated as Voltimantz or Boltrimantz.
I can't find a record for that town under either spelling. Some of his
children were believed to have been born in Kiev)...
