Jan Meisels Allen

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) will be
holding a question and answer webinar , Ellis Island Processing: The Case of
Nanny [Fanny] Knowles regarding Ellis Island Processing- March 25, 2016
1:00 pm ET. As a result of a researcher asking a question about an
unaccompanied minor passenger being excluded despite her traveling with her
older sister who was a US citizen this webinar was created to answer
questions such as: How were families processed when some in the family were
US citizens and some were aliens? What resources exist to help explain more
about Ellis Island ( or other port of entry) processing and more. The
webinar is not recorded, therefore, to get this information you need to join
it live.

While registration is not required, it is encouraged as capacity is limited.
To register go to:
and scroll down to "your Questions Webinar" and click on "attend session".

Note: USCIS has changed their webinar service >from ATT Connect to Adobe
Connect. If you have not used Adobe Connect previously USCIS recommends
testing your connection, getting a quick overview and reading the visual
quick start guide where the links are included in the "Your Questions
Webinar" about registration. Help on Adobe Connect may be found at:
