An enterprising coder, Dan Vanderkam collaborated with the New York Public
Library to create a Google Street View map for New York City in the late
1800's and early 1900s. This was achieved by plotting all the old photos
from the Photographic Views of New York City, 1870s-1970s collection on an
interactive map. See: http://tinyurl.com/kgjmo63

The project, OldNYC, https://www.oldnyc.org/ lets you browse 19th century
New York. The collection has over 80,000 old photographs.

Thank you to Les Kelman for sharing the information with us.
