I obtained the SS#5 for an individual born in 1877 who was known to bePoland.
According to the Jewishgen Gazetteer,
[using the "Sounds Like — Daitch-Mokotoff Soundex" method],
many places in Poland and Russia were called:
"Karolinow", "Charlamovo", "Charlanovo".
At least more probable than "Kralupy"?
