I obtained the SS#5 for an individual born in 1877 who was known to be
Polish. She gives her place of birth as "Korlomp Poland". The town
that sounds most like this comes up as "Kralupy nad Vltavou" but this
is near Prague, Czech Republic. Kralupy seems never to have been in
Poland.

According to the Jewishgen Gazetteer,
[using the "Sounds Like — Daitch-Mokotoff Soundex" method],
many places in Poland and Russia were called:

"Karolinow", "Charlamovo", "Charlanovo".

At least more probable than "Kralupy"?
