of an apron purchased in Instanbul, Turkey, ca. 1905, for a young
teen-age girl. Around the perimeter of the garment there appears to be
some script -- old Turkish, Arabic, or possible just some decorative
embellishments. Need some help in identifying the type/occasion of
garment and the possible script/translation around its edges.
