On visiting a memorial in the Galilee (Israel), at Nebi Yosha (also
known as Metzudat Koach-for 28 Israeli soldier who were killed in the
battle) there was a name of one of the above 28whose name was Eliezer
PUTERMAN (written in Hebrew with a Peh so I'm not sure if the spelling is F or P).
The memorial states that he was born in Korsha, Poland.
As my grandmother's maiden name was PUTERMAN I'd be happy to know If
anyone is related to the above fallen soldier, and where is the
city/town of Korsha. My ancestors came >from Brisk (Brest-Litovsk).
Shabbat Shalom and may we all have a good and plentiful winter.
