Dear Bessarabers,

The new Bessarabia Revision records are available at JewishGen, at Romania /
Moldova database.

At the Bessarabia Databases section you can find a table with information
about all sets of records uploaded in June of 2013. You will get the list
of microfilm numbers, towns / shteitlakh, year the records were taken,
number of records, families and images uploaded, also type of records,
social status and additional comments.

I am also planning to add to Bessarabia Databases section title pages of
each set of records as well as the ending page, where you can see our
ancestors signing the Revision lists (usually 5-7 people >from the community
signed the Revisions, and also every person signed an additional revision.
This is how I found my great great great grandfather Mendel Spivak signed
the Revision List of 1848 of town of Kaushany, Bendery uezd.

Anyone who wants to help translating Revision List records, please email me.
You will be able to choose records >from the towns you are most interested
in.
