The Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Orlando (JGSGO), in collaboration with
the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS), presents:
"How to Protect and Save Family Documents and Photos," on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
This program consists of two presentations on preserving, saving, and sharing your
precious family history items.

The first part of the meeting is a recorded lecture given by Christine Crawford-
Oppenheimer, MLS, presented at the International Association of Jewish Genealogical
Societies' 2017 conference held at the Disney Swan in 2017. Her presentation has
dozens of important methods to help you preserve your family photos and documents.
You likely have many crumbling old photos and documents that are critical parts of
your family history. Christine's talk will help you properly care for these
irreplaceable items. After the recorded lecture,, JGSGO Secretary Tom Hirsch will
show how to scan, stitch, save, share, and use these items in your genealogy.
Bring two photos or documents to have scanned, and a USB flash drive to save the
files.
