USHMM Database #general
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) maintains the Holocaust
Survivors and Victims (HSV) database. This database currently contains 7.5
million name records, drawing on the Museum's extensive collections, as well
as records >from other Holocaust related institutions around the world.
Nearly 2 million of these name records are linked to the documents >from
which they were drawn. One can request a copy of a record through the
Instant Document Delivery service. If one finds a name of interest when
searching http://www.ushmm.org/hsv, and it is linked to its source document,
you are prompted to submit a request form and you will receive the document in
your email instantly. HSV is updated frequently >from new sources and links.
