This points out the helpfulness your local Jewish Genealogy Society can
provide. If you are in need of a speaker on any topic related to genealogy,
whether it is an introduction for people who are not knowledgeable on the
subject, or a look at DNA or other advanced topic, many JGS's offer a
Speaker's Bureau with vetted presenters on a wide range of topics. If you
are the program chair for a synagogue, Jewish organization, library, or any
other group looking for a speaker on genealogy, Google to see if you have a
local society and contact them for speakers, price, and availability.

Genners,
I belong to a Temple in Glendale CA and a group of the members have a
committee called L'dor VaDor. They are planning to have a speaker explain
genealogy to the Temple members and anyone else who would like to attend.

This is planned for 02 December and they have asked me to give the talk but
unfortunately I am leaving for a cruise on 01 December and cannot do it.

I was wondering if there is anyone who resides in the Glendale, Pasadena, or
Burbank area that would like to give this talk.
